Veronika Hartmann obtained her Bachelor's Degree in Applied Biology at the University of Applied Science in Rheinbach 2017. In the same year, she started her Master's Degree in Infection Biology at the University of Lübeck. In October 2018 she joined the LIED as student assistant responsible for cryosections and finished her Master thesis in 2020 on the comparison of immune cell populations in eight different mouse strains. Since August 2021 she is a member of the working group of Prof. Dr. med. vet. Jennifer Hundt, focusing on the Human Skin Organ Culture model and the self-organization of injured tissue in Pemphigus.
