Dana Schmidt (graduate nurse; Ecotrophologist, M.Sc.) passed her exam in 1999 at the UKSH, Campus Lübeck and worked several years in different medical health care organizations/hospitals (UKSH, Diakonie, Hospiz Kieler Förde), especially in oncology and palliative care. She received her Master of Science degree at the Christian-Albrechts-University (Kiel) in the Section for Toxikology and Pharmacology for Natural Scientists with an experimental work on leukemia cells (2012). Since 2013 she is working on clinical trials as both study coordinator and study nurse at the UKSH, Campus Kiel (Electrophysiology, 2013) and Lübeck (Comprehensive Center of inflammatory medicine, 2014/15; Dermatologie, Allergology, Venerology, since 2017). Currently, she maintains studies with Pemphigus vulgaris indication and works supporting on writing IITs.
