Call for a PhD position

This is an advance notice, that two PhD Positions will be available as part of the new Research Training Group (RTG) 3095 “Protective and pathogenic antibody responses at barrier organs” funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG).

The starting date of the program is April 1st 2026, which will offer a structured 4-years doctoral program.

B cells and antibodies are a major focus of new therapeutic strategies for the treatment of inflammatory disorders and can efficiently protect from infectious diseases. Driven by scientists of the Cluster of Excellence PMI, the new Research Training Group RTG 3095is investigating mechanisms driving B cell responses (https://www.uni-luebeck.de/en/aktuelles/news/artikel/antikoerper-im-fokus-neues-graduiertenkolleg-in-luebeck.html).

Addressing the increasing need for bioinformatic data analysis in molecular life science, in addition to state-of-the art training in clinical and immunological research, the PhD program also involves a strong component of structured training in bioinformatic data analysis.

Official calls for positions will be published at the UKSH website end of 2025.
