Anika Kasprick studied human biology at the Ernst-Moritz-Arndt University in Greifswald and obtained her diploma degree in 2009. For her PhD thesis she joined the Research Center Borstel and investigated the role of mast cells in autoimmune bullous diseases (AIBDs). After receiving her degree in 2013 she now moved to Luebeck to continue her studies on AIBDs with main research interest on identifying new therapeutic targets.
