Nina van Beek received her medical training at the University of Lübeck (Germany) and the Rijksuniversiteit Groningen (Netherlands). Since 2010 she is in her training as a dermatologist at the Department of Dermatology at the University of Lübeck, where she has been working both clinically and in experimental dermatology (short CV).
Her main research interests are the diagnostics and genetics of autoimmune bullous disorders. To explore possibilities to facilitate diagnostics of these complex diseases in vitro assays for serum testing are mainly evaluated. Furthermore the genetics of these diseases are of main interest including GWA studies and NGS.
