Katja Bieber completed her dissertation for human biology at the Philipps University (Marburg/Lahn) in 2002. After working in the field of angiogenesis and stroke at the Karl-Ruprecht-University (Heidelberg) she came to Lübeck in 2005 and focused on autoimmune bullous diseases (AIBDs). Her main research interest is the modulation of chronic cutaneous inflammation by T cells using pre-clinical animal models (short CV).
