Nathalie Sochurek is coordinator of the Lübeck–Sharjah dual degree program at the University of Lübeck. In this role, she is responsible for the coordination and organization of international academic cooperation, as well as the implementation and support of student exchange activities between the partner institutions in Lübeck and Sharjah.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

She is currently pursuing her PhD in Psychology at the University of Lübeck at the Institute of History of Medicine and Science Studies (IMGWF). Her doctoral research examines bicultural competence, identity invalidation, and mental health among second-generation migrants in Germany.

Nathalie Sochurek obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology, with a minor in Psychology, from Western Washington University (USA). She subsequently completed her Master of Arts in Cultural Anthropology at the University of Hamburg.
