Maximilian Lahmer studies medicine at the University of Göttingen since October 2019. After his first exam in 2021 and one year of studying in the clincal section, he joined the LIED in the working group of Prof. Dr. med. vet. Jennifer Hundt in 2022. There he is working on the human skin organ culture model. His focus is to test a new single chain variable fragment etablished by Dr. Dr. Hammers regarding acantholysis and test variable kinase inhibitors for pemphigus foliacues.
The title of his doctoral thesis in the frame of the RTG 2633 is: Testing a new single chain variable fragment for pemphigus foliaceus in the human skin organ culture model
