Roshni Dwivedi will be going into her 4th and final year of a Bachelor's degree in the Sciences with a specialization in Psychology at the University of Alberta in Canada, this fall. Before coming to the University of Lubeck, Roshni conducted research in the Fujiwara Lab in the field of Psychiatry. Her research included understanding the differences between affective/ mood disorders and personality traits such as alexithymia. Additionally, Roshni worked with gender minorities to understand how minority stress can contribute to physical and mental health deterioration, including understanding how this stress contributes to adverse autoimmune responses. As a DAAD Rise intern, Roshni will work under Maja Grote to understand how shift work and disruptions to the circadian rhythm of mice has an impact on autoimmune responses, specifically within lupus prone mice.
