Jack Cutting is a student studying biology at Tufts University in Boston, Massachusetts, with a focus on molecular and developmental biology. His research there focuses on the mechanisms of spore formation in Bacillus subtilis bacteria.

Jack joined the working group of Prof. Dr. med. vet Jennifer Hundt in summer 2021 through a DAAD RISE scholarship. His research in the Hundt lab focused on methods to improve wound healing and skin regeneration, in an ex-vivo Human skin model.
