Noha Mousaad Elemam studied Pharmacy and Biotechnology at the German University of Cairo, after which she obtained a master’s degree in Molecular Pharmacology. Her research work focused on the pathogenesis of hepatitis C virus infection as well as the role of the immune natural killer (NK) cells in fighting viral infections. Then, Noha joined the Ph.D. program with a full-granted scholarship in Molecular Medicine and Translational Research program. Her work was a collaboration between the immunooncology group at the University of Sharjah, and LIED, University of Lübeck, in the working group of Prof. Dr. med. vet. Jennifer Hundt.
Her Ph.D. project was on assessing the role of NK cells in cancer and autoimmune diseases.
Titel of her doctoral thesis: Role of natural killer cells in cancer and autoimmune diseases: colorectal cancer and rheumatoid arthritis as a model.

She has published many research and review articles and delivered many poster and oral presentations in several conferences.
